The pleasure craft license (QC1234) is free and can be obtained by mail. The form is available at the Service Canada office or online at http://www.tc.gc.ca. Before using the boat, the license number must be displayed on both sides of the bow. This number allows law enforcement officers and search and rescue agencies to identify the owner of each pleasure craft.

A license or registration is required for all pleasure craft equipped with an engine of 10 horsepower (7.5 kW) or more, including pleasure yachts, fishing boats (rowboats), personal watercraft ( Sea-Doo), etc. Whether your boat is new, used or even built by yourself, you need a license and corresponding decals.

Our decals measure 3 inches x 20 inches, black or white, (you will receive 2) for both sides of your boat.
