T-SHIRT PRINTING TECHNIQUES

This section has been set up to inform you about t-shirt printing, boxer printing or any other clothing. The quality and durability of these techniques is explained there.

There are several printing techniques and since 2011, we have chosen those that offer the highest quality to meet the requirements of our commercial customers and at the same time offer you quality products at good prices. We use printing digital/flex die-cutting as well as screen printing

DIGITAL PRINT or FLEX cut by commercial heat transfer

Digital or flex printing is a very good way to personalize all textile products. Digital or FLEX heat transfer consists of HIGH QUALITY digital printing of the logo, photo or text, with a large format commercial printer, on a vinyl backing and then heat applied to the textile at the means of a professional press with a pressure of more than 180 lbs. The prints are very durable, wash after wash. The images are clear as a regular photo when sent to us in quality. The texture is less soft than screen printing but all customizations are possible

At Us, personalized clothing is printed using this technique which offers the advantage of printing all your projects individually.

We have been using this technique for years for products in small quantities for the online store and for certain companies whose logos are not compatible with screen printing. This method has long been recognized as very durable.

Value of commercial machinery and commercial printer over $50,000

SCREEN PRINTING (we use this technique for companies or on request)

This technique consists of spreading inks one by one through a stencil directly on the clothes. It is used for large quantities. Personalization of individual personal photos is not possible. Screen printing having a process of installing frames, films and stencils and then having to bake the garments is too long to allow unitary products.

Screen printing is advantageous when printing large quantities of the same model between 1 to 6 colors. The durability is very long lasting and the quality of the printed logos are beautiful with a SOFT Touch texture

The screen printing machinery (automatic carousel) is more than $15,000

SUBLIMATION

Sublimation printing is also a good way to personalize any textile products or mugs.... Sublimation printing is a versatile process, there are particularities, which can affect the final result of the products: Dust particles that can be integrated into the design, Discoloration after a few washes (for clothes). Feeling soft to the touch, the image integrates the fibers of the clothing. Images may appear hazier on a garment than digital or screen printed or dtg.

In Sublimation the ink is absorbed differently from one fabric to another. If the print is plain, you can see a slight difference.

The durability of this technique is less unlike digital/Flex printing or screen printing when these are used with high quality products.

Sublimation on glass or ceramic products

The value of a sublimation printer is around $200 and $1000

DTG PRINTING

DTG is the abbreviation of Digital to Garment or Ink printing directly on garment. It is a Medium definition print (photo quality) printed by an inkjet printer on your clothes. It allows the customization of products but its resistance to washing is mediocre. The colors lose their shine in 3-5 washes. It is generally used by individuals who offer clothing without being renowned printers.

We previously had this technique but being of low durability, we stored these printers.

Since 2011, we have opted for the quality of our products. We use original products (roland, M&R, 3M or avery) Our prints are resistant over time, unlike sublimation or DTG. Our images are clear and vibrant in color.

Your clothes will stay beautiful wash after wash. You can see printed clothing with us in several large banners as well as large format products such as city signs in our upper and lower Laurentians.

Since 2011, our family business has been offering humorous t-shirts, photo boxers, cups, quality maternity sweaters on this online store.
